After graduating from SAIT in 1996, Executive Chef Dean Hossack began his career at Lake Okanagan Resort, where he began his apprenticeship under Canadian Culinary Olympic Grand Gold Medalist, Dave Ryan.
Dean's extensive experience in valley kitchens includes over 5 years as the executive chef all over the Central Okanagan. He is also known on the national and international stage, having competed 4 times as a member of Culinary Team British Columbia. In November 2013, Culinary Team BC placed 2nd in the world in Basel, Switzerland.
Dean's goal is to offer a standard of creative excellence to the kitchens at Lake Okanagan Resort. With a new team whose mission is to create en pointe presentations, Lake Okanagan Resort invites you to take the short drive down the lake, where we aim to make every meal and every event, one to remember.
